So turns out my baby that I would easily say started all of this is up for auction (again?!) at Global Gallery tonight, alongside work from the very great Ben Frost, Beastman, Bennett, Meggs, Obey, Bridge, Reg Mombassa and Anthony Lister and Pro Hart and all these other people who are exponentially greater than me and who don’t know who I am but I think they’re just great and I’ll stop writing before this gets creepy. Anyway.

After hauling my ass down to Melbourne for Jacky Winter’s Field Trip (which was super inspiring and I only fell asleep once!) I found out my interview with Acclaim mag is online! I think I’m a feature on the web and not in print - but with Iggy all over everything this cover was always going to go up. A massive to Alex for letting me rant on.

Well I was going to keep this wrapped til I have a glorious print and event photos to show but - ner. This here is my piece for The Drawing Arm’s launch that’s coming up in April which I am sooo keen for, though the idea was originally developed for the Damp Space poster call out (alas I totally missed the boat on that one, boom-tsh!)
It’s been really awesome giving myself a little bit of extra focus on getting more illustrative not with the type but with the whole composition - next big focus, pew pew!
You know how it works! Just a little to call out to the glorious people who are following me (heck, even if you’re not) to show me some love for Qantas SOYA Visual Design and Communications category for this years competition. The Drawing Arm is officially up and humming so go seeee! I’m super chuffed to be in the fine company of these fine artists and working with the folks from The National Grid. Good times!
So while I’ve spent the past few days busting out some serious signs for Cassette Nine all the way down in New Zealand, I’m a duffer and didn’t get a single shot of my work. So the only way you’ll be seeing that is hung in all it’s glory (that sounds…anyway).
